A bucolic cruise in the green setting of the Marne and in the friendly tradition of guinguettes

Description of the cruise

The day begins in the port of the Arsenal. After passing the Bastille lock, a superb view of Notre-Dame-de-Paris, we discover the eastern districts of Paris, Bercy and the Grande Bibliothèque de France. At the confluence of the Marne, Chinagora, the Chinese centre, marks the limit of the urban landscape.

Quietly the boat goes up the river... passing the Saint Maurice lock, Delacroix's childhood place, the Moulin Brûlé island, the Île aux Corbeaux. Leaving Fanac Island, you will enter "the land of the guinguettes": Gégène, le p'tit Robinson, the old Convert ball and the Verger à Nogent. After passing along the islands of Wolves and Love, the boat turns back at Bry-sur-Marne and docks for lunch at the mythical "Chez Gégène" guinguette in Joinville le Pont, where you can enjoy a picnic or a restaurant.

In the afternoon, you will return to Paris in a "musette" atmosphere animated by our accordionist, while discovering superb residences and protected landscapes. During the cruise, comments, anecdotes and dancing...
