"Guinguette Tradition"
The day starts at the Paris Arsenal Marina. After the Bastille lock, there is a magnificent view of Notre Dame cathedral, followed by the districts of Eastern Paris, Bercy and the Grande Bibliothèque de France. At the confluence with the River Marne, Chinagora, the new Chinese center, marks the boundary of the urban landscape.
The boat continues gently upriver... past the Saint-Maurice lock, the place of Delacroix’s childhood, l'île du Moulin Brûlé, l'île aux Corbeaux.
After the Fanac island, you come into the “land of guinguettes” and rowing clubs, such as Gegene, le p’tit Robinson at Joinville-le-Pont, the old Convert ball room and the Verger at Nogent. Past les îles des Loups et d'Amour, the boat docks at Joinville-le-Pont for lunch at the "Chez Gégène" guinguette.
In the afternoon, the orchester will revived you the atmosphere of the "Bals musettes".
Notice : The return to Paris by boat is not provided.
